Time
Exploring longer home visits that give a mother time to pause, with practical help close by.
The first weeks after birth deserve a little more support. We’re exploring practical help at home, so mothers have more room to rest, settle in and feel supported.

Support after birth is not a luxury. It is the foundation of recovery and maternal wellbeing. We’re researching models that offer practical rest, nourishment and dignity, so every mother can move through the first thirty days with the care she deserves.
Why we existEvery mother deserves a village.

A meal prepared. A load of laundry. Someone to listen. Ordinary tasks can matter in a new chapter.
Exploring funding that could reduce what a family pays, with a focus on low incomes and limited support.

I’m Laura, the founder of Her Fourth Project. After my son was born prematurely, I was recovering from birth complications while caring for a baby in and out of hospital. I was in a new city with no family nearby, and I kept thinking: how does anyone cope?
What I needed was practical help. Someone to prepare a meal, help with the cleaning, or hold my son while I rested. That’s the heart of Her Fourth Project.
Every mother deserves compassion and care. A parent’s mental health is vital, as early support shapes a child’s whole life. Her Fourth Project exists to turn that into a lived reality.
